Meet Danielle Staniscia. Danielle has loyally been with City Tile for five and a half years. Danielle is the daughter of the owner, Dominic Staniscia, and has been around the business since she was eight-years-old. She is the ideal employee since she has had the opportunity to learn from the family and watch the company grow and blossom into what it is today.
After graduation, at Dover Bay Secondary, Danielle joined the team and had not looked back. Her position with the company is a sales representative, but Danielle does a bit of everything around the store in Nanaimo.
What does Danielle bring to the company?
“The owner always says young-blood,” Danielle said. “Before I started on board there was no Facebook; there was no Instagram.”
Danielle has brought marketing to the company, and through the knowledge of social media platforms, she has implemented marketing strategies through those platforms since social media is the leading source to market one’s business.
“That’s the biggest aspect I’ve brought; knowing technology a little bit more,” Daniele said, “it’s all about online marketing and putting your name out there.”
What is Danielle’s passion that drives her in the business?
“Seeing new things; seeing all the styles,” Danielle said. “It’s been interesting to see how trends have come and gone and what’s coming back.”
One could say that Danielle enjoys the unfolding history in the industry. History, being the study of change over time, they see much change in a short period at City Tile. City Tile is a business that is constantly adapting to accommodate the new trends and tastes that arise from their customers.
During business hours, Danielle’s hobby of photography is well-used in the interest of the company. Often, Danielle snaps pictures around the shop for the website and recently completed tile jobs. Outside of business hours, she enjoys going out in the serene landscape of Vancouver Island and snapping photos of nature.
